Two Players Left On Nigeria Alternate Roster As Saviour Godwin Finally Departs Brazil
<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> has been informed that Saviour Godwin, who represented Belgian side KV Oostende last term, has finally departed the Nigeria U23s camp in Brazil. <br /><br />Though it was widely reported earlier this month that the former Nigeria U20 international left the Dream Team in Atlanta to join his club for pre-season, it can be revealed now that he was in the traveling party to Manaus on August 4.<br /><br />Saviour Godwin was amongst the players that the Sports Minister held a meeting with on Sunday after the game against Sweden, before he boarded a flight out of Brazil the following day.<br /><br />With the nonavailability of Saviour and Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi, it means only goalkeeper Yusuf and Stanley Dimgba are left on the alternate roster. <br /><br />Meanwhile, Sports minister Dalung will be in the stands once again when the Nigeria U23s take on Colombia today, a team official has disclosed. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
