Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the Nigeria-eligible players who were on parade for their respective clubs on matchday three in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, October 23.

In the early kickoff, Fikayo Tomori helped goalkeeper Kepa post a shutout as Chelsea registered their second straight win on the road, beating Ajax Amsterdam 1-0 at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Michy Batshuayi's close range finish in the 86th minute secured three points for Frank Lampard's team.

In the other Group H fixture, Lille earned their first point, drawing 1-1 with Valencia at  Stade Pierre-Mauroy, with Victor Osimhen going the distance for the French team.

Jonathan Ikone cancelled out Cheryshev's effort with almost the last kick of the game.

In a Group F fixture at the Sinobo Stadium in Prague, Barcelona beat Slavia 2-1.

Nigeria international Peter Olayinka had the misfortune of scoring an own goal in the 57th minute which eventually gave the Spanish side the win. The striker played the full game and was booked in the 71st minute.

Lionel Messi struck the opener inside three minutes, becoming the first player to score in 15 consecutive seasons in the Champions League in the process, before Boril stabbed in an equaliser in the 50th minute.

Finally in Group E, European champions Liverpool got their first away win in this season's competition, thrashing Racing Genk 4-1 at Luminus Arena.

Dream Team VII star Stephen Odey replaced Paul Onuachu with nine minutes left on the clock.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted two for the Reds, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah scored in the 77th and 87th minute respectively and Odey got a consolation at minute 88.
