Villarreal's Next Big Hope Chukwueze To Rohr : Give Me A Chance To Play Against South Africa

Former Nigeria U20 international Samuel Chukwueze, who has been billed as Villarreal's next big hope, is hoping to make his international debut when the Super Eagles face off with South Africa on Saturday.

In truth, his chances to play against Bafana Bafana have increased with Bordeaux right winger Samuel Kalu yet to report for international duty as at the time of this report.

Chukwueze is also competing with wingers Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Henry Onyekuru for one of the spots in the starting line-up and he's the youngest of the aforementioned players.

''I am so happy to be invited to the Super Eagles, I am hoping to have a chance to play against South Africa,'' Chukwueze told Super Eagles Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye.

''I hope our fans will come and support us fully so that we will have the ticket to the Nations Cup.''

The 19-year-old Chukwueze was on the same Golden Eaglets team as Kelechi Nwakali and Victor Osimhen that won the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup.
