'We didn't believe it' - Aybaba reacts to Osimhen's move amid Galatasaray's links with Salah

Turkish football pundit Adnan Aybaba has commented on Galatasaray’s recent transfer activities, highlighting the club’s surprising acquisition of Victor Osimhen and addressing ongoing speculation about potential signings, including Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi.

Speaking on Telegol, Adnan Aybaba reflected on the Victor Osimhen transfer, admitting the skepticism that surrounded the deal.

He said, as quoted by habersarikirmizi: “Can you imagine Galatasaray's squad right now? I said, 'Galatasaray can't buy Osimhen's shoes,' but they bought Osimhen. We didn't believe it.”

Adnan Aybaba also addressed the rumors linking Galatasaray with Mohamed Salah, currently at Liverpool.

While not confirming any developments, he indicated that such a transfer could be possible.

“I won't say anything about Mohamed Salah now. I'm keeping quiet, Salah can come too,” he stated.

In addition, Aybaba mentioned Lionel Messi, noting the global attention a move involving the Argentine star would generate.

“Messi, in particular, would be a big deal,” he said, emphasizing the magnitude of the potential signing.

The statements from Aybaba come at a time when Galatasaray appears determined to strengthen its squad significantly.

The club’s recent transfer activity has already drawn widespread attention, and the possibility of further high-profile acquisitions has fueled excitement among supporters.
