Former Manchester United striker Odion Jude Ighalo has reacted to the Red Devils' 3-2 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Manchester United came from behind to secure all three points, with goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha sealing the win for the Red Devils.
Taking to social media after the game, Ighalo expressed his delight at the result while also taking a swipe at Arsenal supporters.
"Manchester United, we are back, the biggest and best club in the whole world. 'We are going to keep them quiet this time," Ighalo said on Instagram.
The former Nigerian International doubled down on his reaction with a post on his Instagram story, trolling Arsenal fans following the defeat.
"The silence of Arsenal fans on social media is proudly sponsored by Manchester United," he added.
The former Super Eagles striker joined Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua during the 2020 winter transfer window.
His arrival saw the ex-Watford striker become the first Nigerian-born player to represent the club.
During his short spell at Old Trafford, Ighalo scored five goals and registered one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions.
