Nigeria U23 international Godswill Ekpolo is undergoing trials at&nbsp; Football League Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers, with a view to a transfer in the summer transfer window.<br /><br />The right fullback is on the look-out for a new club following his release by La Liga giants Barcelona at the end of last month.<br /><br />The coaching staff at Wolves ran the rule over Ekpolo on Saturday as the Development squad recorded a 2-1 win over Hednesford Town in a pre-season friendly. <br /><br />If the 21-year-old impresses in the test games and is offered a deal, he will join Dominic Iorfa, Carl Ikeme and Bright Enobakhare at the Molineux Stadium outfit.<br /><br />Born in Benin City, Godswill Ekpolo trained with Nigeria&rsquo;s U23 national team this summer but was not named to the 35-man provisional roster for the 2016 Olympic Games.<br /><br />He was on the books of Barcelona for eleven years before his departure in June. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
