Published: September 07, 2014
SamVic Academy starlet Apeh Emmanuel is hoping to impress the coaches at Inter Milan and earn himself a contract when his trials are completed in about a week’s time.
The attacker and his teammate at the Lagos based academy, Godwin Alex Joseph, have been training with the Nerazzurri for the past two weeks.
“The facilities I met here are so fantastic, and so nice. I am lucky to have been selected during the camp that was organized by Samvic Football Academy at the National Stadium in Lagos, where the Italian scout selected myself and Alex for the final screening,”says Apeh Emmanuel to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Sure I will break into the first team if I am giving a contract because I have scored five goals in four matches since I arrived here.
“My thanks go to Almighty God and Samvic Football Academy, who give me this opportunity to be here. And I also thank the general manager of the team Dominic Egbukwu who also invited me to their camp.”
18 - year - old Apeh Emmanuel will join Nigeria international Joel Obi at the club if he is offered a contract in the coming weeks.
