<font size=\"3\">A first half strike from Ndifreke Effiong was all that Abia Warriors needed to snatch three points in a 1-0 win over Akwa United.<br /><br />Ladan Bosso&rsquo;s side came into the game with half heart after they were unlucky to lose one-nil to Enugu Rangers on Wednesday.<br /><br />And they managed to win against the Promise Keepers thanks to Effiong&rsquo;s goal sixteen minutes into the match.<br /><br />Effiong&rsquo;s cross from the right flank sailed into the net, much to the surprise of goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode.<br /><br />Akwa United were unable to force an equaliser in the remainder of the game.</font>
