Victor Osimhen is back on the radar of AC Milan after the Italian giants missed out on his signature prior to his move to Lille.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan are interested in the French market and have identified the Nigeria international as a potential signing.
The Rossoneri are planning for life without their iconic Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and see Osimhen as his ideal replacement.
The former Manchester United and Barcelona striker comes off contract with AC Milan at the end of next month and there are doubts over his future following the sacking of sporting director Zvonimir Boban.
AC Milan face competition from Inter Milan and Napoli for the services of Osimhen as well as clubs in Spain and England.
Osimhen emerged as one of the most exciting young players in France in the 2019-2020 season, scoring 18 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions.
On the international scene, the 21-year-old also impressed, with 4 goals in four matches since the conclusion of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
