Nigeria U23 international Junior Ajayi helped Al Ahly register a 2-0 win over Zamalek in the Cairo derby on Thursday evening. <br /><br /><span class="hidden-xxs" data-type="full">Momen</span> Zakaria had opened the scoring with 21 minutes on the clock before the ex-Shooting Stars frontman killed off the game in the 90th minute shortly after he was introduced.<br /><br />Days leading up to the clash at Petrosport Stadium, the Nigerian was struggling to overcome an ankle injury. <br /><br />In 11 appearances in the Egyptian Premier League this season, Ajayi has found the back of the net five times, against Ittehad, Entag El Harby, Gaish and El Nasr Tadeen.<br /><br />He joined the Red Devils in August from Tunisian side CS Sfaxien.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
