Following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, EFL League One club Wigan Athletic have confirmed their retained and released list, with two Nigerian players available for transfer.
The Latics would consider selling Joseph Hungbo and Baba Adeeko if suitable offers are received.
Hungbo joined Wigan Athletic from 1. FC Nürnberg in January 2025, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract until June 30, 2028.
The forward has yet to open his account after 50 matches in all competitions, though he has provided four assists.
Tipped as one of the brightest prospects of his generation during his teenage years, the Crystal Palace academy graduate has previously represented Margate, Watford, Aldershot Town, Ross County, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United during his career.
Former Republic of Ireland U21 international of Nigerian descent Baba Adeeko could also be set for a move away this summer, having been listed among the players available to leave Wigan Athletic.
The central midfielder began his career with local side Mervue United before relocating to England at the age of 13.
In February 2024, Adeeko signed a new contract with Wigan Athletic that runs until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
The 23-year-old is now just two appearances away from reaching the milestone of 100 games for Wigan Athletic.
