The only goal scored by the Super Falcons against Ghana at the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations has been credited to Arsenal striker Asisat Oshoala rather than an own goal by Black Queens defender Cynthia Adobia.<br /><br />The Nigeria Football Federation insisted that the goal was scored by Oshoala in their report on Wednesday, and the official website of Arsenal has followed suit by crediting the 19th minute strike to the Nigerian star.<br /><br />Therefore, the Arsenal Ladies number 24 scored in each of her last three games at the AWCON, taking her tally to six goals. <br /><br />Oshoala will need to score six more goals in the Super Falcons remaining two matches to surpass the record currently held by Perpetua Nkwocha for a single tournament she set in 2010.<br /><br />The 22-year-old is the leading scorer in Cameroon ahead of Ghana<span class="body1">&rsquo;s </span>Elizabeth Addo, who has three goals to her name.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />
