Arsenal young star Chuba Akpom has resumed full training with the first-team squad ahead of their Boxing Day fixture with West Brom at the Emirates.<br /><br />The England U21 international joined the likes of Ramsey, Welbeck and Mertesacker at the practice session held at&nbsp; London Colney on Saturday. <br /><br />Because of a back injury, Akpom has not kicked a ball in a competitive fixture for the Gunners since he took to the pitch in the 4-0 rout of Nottingham Forest in the League Cup on September 20.<br /><br />The 20-year-old had been tipped to get more first team opportunities this term after starring in pre-season, but has been largely used by the U23s coach, with established internationals Sanchez, Walcott and Giroud ahead of him in the pecking order.<br /><br />Nigeria international Alex Iwobi was also involved in today&rsquo;s workout. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : arsenal.com<br />
