In an attempt to ward off suitors, Londoners Arsenal have offered a new three - year deal to Anglo - Nigerian Chuba Akpom.<br /><br />The <i>London Evening Standard </i>says the Gunners chiefs are keen on extending his stay at the Emirates, with his current contract set to expire this June. <br /><br />And it means, the 19 - year - old can start discussing with the plethora of teams he has been linked with in the January transfer window this month, assuming he rejects the proposal from Arsenal.<br /><br />The England youth international has been rumoured to be wanted by Feyenoord, FC Twente and Borussia Dortmund plus Man City, Spurs and Everton.<br /><br />Chuba Akpom has played nonstop for Arsenal since the age of 8.<br /><br />Photo Credit : arsenal.com<br />
