Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are among the clubs monitoring former 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Aribim Pepple ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are at the forefront of a group of clubs tracking Plymouth Argyle's prolific forward Lorent Tolaj and his strike partner Pepple.

After a modest start to his career with Plymouth Argyle, during which he managed just one goal in his first thirteen League One appearances, Pepple has rediscovered his scoring touch. 

The 23-year-old is currently enjoying an impressive run of form, having registered eight goals in his last eleven outings in England's third tier.

The former Luton Town forward also found the net against Tottenham Hotspur and Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy, taking his overall tally for Plymouth Argyle to eleven goals across all competitions.

His recent performances have attracted significant attention, with scouts from Celtic and several English clubs alerted to his progress.

Pepple is additionally drawing interest from Göztepe, as well as Major League Soccer sides Minnesota United and CF Montréal.

The striker developed through the ranks at Oadby Owls, Eastside Memorial FC, Calgary Foothills and Getafe, before going on to represent Cavalry FC, Grimsby Town, Bromley, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Southend United and Chesterfield.

Born in Kettering to an English mother and a Nigerian father, Pepple is also eligible to represent Canada at international level.
