Chelsea Admit Nigerian Defender Had A Dreadful Debut

In their weekly review of the players loaned out, the official website of Chelsea&nbsp; acknowledged that promising Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori had a dreadful debut for Brighton &amp; Hove Albion this past weekend.<br /><br />The Brighton players could not believe when Tomori inadvertently put the ball into&nbsp; his own net against non-league Lincoln City in the 62nd minute and he was yellow carded before the end of the first half.<br /><br />&ldquo;But there was a Brighton debut to forget for Fikayo Tomori as he put through his&nbsp; own net as the Sussex club were beaten by non-league Lincoln City,&rdquo; Chelsea wrote on their official website.<br /><br />Tomori, 19, started twelve games for the Blues U23 squad, scoring once against Tottenham Hotspur before he was farmed out on loan to the Seagulls.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br />Photo Credit : seagulls.co.uk
