Through a statement on their official website, Huddersfield Town have announced their retained list following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, with decisions made regarding four Nigerian players, including defender Nicholas Idemudia.
The Terriers confirmed that Idemudia has been offered his first professional contract ahead of next season.
A centre-back by trade, he joined Huddersfield Town as a scholar before the start of the 2024-2025 season.
Prior to his move to the Terriers, he spent time with Oldham Athletic, featuring for the Latics in the FA Youth Cup.
In search of first team experience, he was loaned out to Northern Counties East League club Golcar United in March 2026.
Meanwhile, promising midfielder Tom Iorpenda, who was nominated for the League Two Young Player of the Season, has been retained following a successful loan spell at Notts County, during which he recorded three goals and seven assists in 50 appearances.
Tom's brother, George Iorpenda, is also among those retained, alongside David Kasumu, who is under contract until June 2027.
