Chuba Akpom has admitted that his hat-trick against Bury on Saturday in the FA Cup has been the highlight of his career so far.<br /><br />The England youth-teamer had lost his spot in the Tigers starting lineup since December but retained his shirt for the visit to Gigg Lance and repaid the manager&rsquo;s faith by netting his first professional hat-trick.<br /><br />&ldquo;It was my first professional hat-trick and the best feeling I&rsquo;ve experienced in my short football career so far,&rdquo;Akpom told Hull City&rsquo; official website. <br /><br />&ldquo;That is the kind of feeling I want to have all of the time, scoring as many goals as I can, but it was just nice to be back in the squad to help the lads through to the next round.<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s been a rough patch for me and I&rsquo;ve just tried to keep my head down and work hard in training.&rdquo;<br /><br />With Hull City drawn against Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup, Akpom is ineligible for the clash against the Londoners as there is a clause in his contract that prevents him from playing against them.<br /><br />Photo Credit : hullcitytigers.com<br />
