Accrington Stanley have completed the signing of West Ham's Nigeria-eligible defender Ajibola Alese.
The England youth international has been loaned out to Accrington Stanley until January 2, 2020 in a bid to experience first team football and could debut for the EFL League One club after the international break.
The 18-year-old Alese has started and gone the distance in all the matches contested by West Ham in this season's Premier League 2 and made his debut for the U18s while still a schoolboy.
Speaking on his move to Accrington Stanley, Alese told the club's official website :''I'm very excited, I've heard a lot about the club, I've done a lot of research and I can't wait to get started.
"So far I've only played Under-23s football, so I know League One is going to be tough, but if I can go there and do well then it will help me in my career a lot.
"I feel as though I bring pace, I can read the game well and I feel as though I can play with the ball at my feet as well.''
One of the top teenage prospects of Nigerian descent in England, Alese has captained England at U16 level and graduated to the U19 squad this season.
