Little known Nigerian striker Samuel Santos Opara has appended his signature to a contract with Bulgarian club FK Shumen 1929 from Turkish Akcakocaspor. <br /><br />The 21 - year - old was over the moon after committing his future to FK Shumen for the next 24 months, and has admitted that the transfer is a step up in his career.<br /><br />&ldquo;I am happy to come to Bulgaria. I would have signed for a second league team , PFC Marek Dupnitsa but I had problems processing a visa to join them at their training camp,&rdquo;Samuel Opara said to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com.</b><br /><br />&ldquo;So the coach advised my agent to take me to FK Shumen until the end of this season. <br /><br />&ldquo;While they are prepared to let me leave in June, I have signed a contract for the next two years.<br /><br />&ldquo;Who knows I may have the chance of playing in the Premier League next.&rdquo;<br /><br />Samuel Opara will sport the number 15 jersey for the remainder of the season.<br />
