Scotland champions Celtic have qualified for the play - off round of the Champions League after UEFA ruled that Legia Warsaw fielded an ineligible player, Bartosz Bereszynski in the second leg, third qualifying round which they lost 2-0 on the pitch.<br /><br />Thus, Celtic were awarded a 3 - 0 victory and given that they lost the first leg tie 4 - 1, they have advanced to the play -off round at the expense of Legia Warsaw as they scored a goal away from home.<br /><br />Nigeria international Efe Ambrose was not fielded in Wednesday&rsquo;s tie after he was sent off in the first leg held in Poland.<br /><br />Glasgow Celtic will discover their opponents in the next round when the draw is made in Nyon this afternoon.<br /><br />Legia Warsaw have five days to appeal the decision of Europe&rsquo;s governing body, UEFA.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
