Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria's interim manager Augustine Eguavoen was among the spectators at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night as Leicester City registered a comfortable 4-1 win over Danish Cup winners Randers in the first leg of their Europa Conference League playoff tie.
The 1994 Africa Cup of Nations-winning right-back was present in the stadium to check out former England youth international Ademola Lookman with a view to his inclusion on the roster for next month's 2022 World Cup playoff matches versus Ghana.
Lookman must have impressed the watching Eguavoen having set up the goals scored by Wilfred Ndidi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Eguavoen, who watched the match from the executive box, met with Lookman, Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho after the game.
The Super Eagles caretaker boss also met with Randers striker Stephen Odey before the match and their discussions centered around the possibility of deploying him as a false nine for the Super Eagles.
Odey was part of Randers' traveling squad even though he was serving the last of a three-game ban for the red card he received in the group phase of the Conference League against FK Jablonec.
Eguavoen praised the former Racing Genk star for the good season he's having at Randers with 10 goals in all competitions.
The Nigeria legend was also introduced to Randers higher-ups who were at the King Power Stadium.
As for Tosin Kehinde, Eguavoen did not see him one-on-one because the Manchester United academy product had to fly back with the Randers squad to Denmark immediately after the game.
