One player has been a revelation for Enugu Rangers, while another proved his quality as the Flying Antelopes came back to defeat Kano Pillars 2-1 in Enugu.<br /><br />Godwin Aguda and Bobby Clement but had key roles to play as Rangers quelled Pillars with a narrow 2-1 victory on Wednesday.<br /><br />In the end, Clement&rsquo;s 33rd minute winner gave Rangers an important three points while Pillars were unable to protect their lead for the second time in three days.<br />&nbsp;<br />Aguda was plugged straight into the starting lineup and the starlet added zest to Rangers&rsquo; attacking play, especially in the first half. <br /><br />Rangers head coach Imama Amakpakabo switched from a 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3 formation.<br /><br />However, the hosts went down as in-form midfielder Godspower Anefiok scored his second goal in two matches as Pillars grabbed the lead in the 10th minute. <br /><br />It was a reward for Pillars control of the early exchange, though the visitors should have opened the scoring 4 minutes earlier.<br /><br />The away side was pegged back just three minutes before the half hour mark. Young midfielder Aguda fired beyond goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai.<br /><br />Pillars were rocked for the next few minutes and failed to regain composure.<br /><br />And Clement netted what looked like the winner in the 33rd minute for the Flying Antelopes.<br /><br />Neither Rangers nor Pillars have much time to think about Wednesday&rsquo;s match. <br /><br />Rangers will be guests to Akwa United on July 5th, while Pillars are at home to Elkanemi Warriors.
