Everton manager Marco Silva spoke highly of Alex Iwobi at the pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's League Cup match against Lincoln City.
Although the Portuguese gaffer refused to reveal whether the Nigeria international will make his full debut in tomorrow's game, he praised the winger for his display against Aston Villa last Friday.
Silva is certain that Iwobi will bring more quality to the Toffees once he gets more games under his belt .
''The impact not just him [Iwobi] but Moise Kean had in the last game was really important for our team,'' Silva was quoted as saying by Liverpool Echo.
"Unfortunately we didn't score, but the impact was good and they understood what I expect from them.
"Alex gave us very good things during that moment. I'm 100% sure with more minutes in his legs, having more training sessions, getting to know his teammates better and creating normal connections we will see his quality."
Iwobi became the most expensive player of Nigerian descent in history following his deadline move to Everton for a fee in the region of £35m.
