Falconets Drawn With Spain, Canada And Japan In World Cup

Fifa has completed the official draw for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women&rsquo;s World Cup to be staged in Papua New Guinea from 13 November and 3 December 2016.<br /><br />African powerhouse Nigeria were drawn into position B4 and will face Spain, Canada and Japan in the group stage.<br /><br />The Falconets begin their quest to win the trophy for the first time with a game against Japan on November 13 at Bava Park, Port Moresby, then three days later face Canada at the same venue before concluding group play against Spain on November 20.<br /><br />The Nigeria U20s have qualified for the knockout rounds in each of the last six tournaments, finishing second in 2010 and 2014 while they placed 4th in 2012.<br /><br />Nigeria qualified for the FIFA U-20 Women&rsquo;s World Cup after beating Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa in the&nbsp; CAF U-20 Women&rsquo;s World Cup Qualifying Tournament.<br /><b><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /></b><br />Photo Credit : fifa.com<b><br /></b>
