Outgoing Lille medical chief Patrick Flamant has likened the attitude of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen to two former Monaco strikers Kylian Mbappe and Radamel Falcao.
Osimhen was a big hit in his debut season in France, scoring 18 goals in all competitions and is on the radar of multiple clubs in Italy, England and Spain in the summer transfer window.
According to Flamant, Osimhen is as professional as Mbappe, who is unarguably the best U21 player in the world at the moment.
"He (Mbappe) is one of the great professionals I have met in my career. Him, Falcao, Osimhen, these guys have only one thing in mind : professionalism," Flamant told French newspaper La Voix Du Nord.
"They are nickels in their attitude, you will never have anything to say to them."
Flamant went on to comment about Osimhen's lifestyle off the pitch and noted that the Super Eagle is easy to manage.
"I saw him arrive last year, I saw his behaviour, he has such determination!
"With him, one has the impression that nothing other than football exists nearby.
"I know some players who prefer to spend an evening mixing music rather than recovering from a training session.
"Victor Osimhen is the kind of player who never disputes : Is there a recovery protocol? Okay no problem'."
