According to various reports in the Turkish press including Yeni Asir, Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are plotting a move for Super Eagles hopeful Cyriel Dessers.
It is claimed that The Lions are 'in contact' with the Heracles Almelo marksman over a transfer.
Dessers is under contract with Heracles until the end of the 2021-2022 season and the option of the Belgian-Nigerian joining the Istanbul club on loan rather than a permanent deal is being mooted.
Galatasaray are in the market for a striker as Florin Andone and Ryan Babel's loan deals will run out at the end of this season, while Mbaye Diagne, currently on loan at Club Brugge, could be sold.
A departure from Heracles in the upcoming transfer window is on the cards for Dessers, having put himself in the shop window during the 2019-2020 campaign with 18 goals in all competitions.
Galatasaray have in their ranks two attack-minded Nigerian players in Henry Onyekuru and Jesse Sekidika, and a third Nigerian Valentine Ozornwafor is spending this season on loan at UD Almeria in Spain.
