Torrential rain in Oba left the Rojenny International Stadium pitch barely playable and match referee John Inoyo called off the game between Heartland and Shooting Stars.<br /><br />Sunday Adetunji came close to shocking the Naze Millionaires but he was halted by young goalkeeper Emmanuel Iwu.<br /><br />Debutant Danladi Isa made a cracking save from a long range effort by Babangida Hassan. <br /><br />The former Sharks goal minder defied the heavy rain and made another save in the 21st minute.<br /><br />With conditions worsening and the pitch clearly unplayable, both sets of players were hauled off and summoned to their changing rooms.<br /><br />After a 20-minute delay &ndash; and a rather determined effort from the groundsmen to soak up the deluge with a sponge roller &ndash; the referee called the match off.<br /><br />The two clubs will complete the game on Monday at the same venue.<br /><br />Photo Credit : thenff.com<br />
