Ajax Amsterdam coach, Erik ten Hag is wary of Lille goal poacher Victor Osimhen ahead of his side's Champions League clash at the Stade Pierre Mauroy Villeneuve d'Ascq on Wednesday night.
Of the 21 goals scored by Lille in all competitions so far this season, Osimhen has been directly involved in 11 (9 goals, 2 assists) and the Dutchman reckons that the Super Eagles star poses the greatest threat to Ajax's hopes of winning the game.
''[Lille] will certainly put pressure on us. They certainly did when we met in Amsterdam. Our 3-0 win was very flattering,'' Ten Hag told reporters at Tuesday's press conference.
On how Ajax plan to stop Osimhen from finding the net, he explained to journalists : ''If we have the ball, he can't score''.
After four matches in Group H of the Champions League, the French
Ligue 1 side are bottom of the table with one point, six less than Ajax,
Chelsea and Valencia, and will be knocked out of European competitions if
they fail to win today.
