Ireland underage international of Nigerian descent Armstrong Okoflex made his long-awaited debut for West Ham United as they thrashed Viborg FF 3-0 to progress to the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage on Thursday, August 25.

Prior to his senior debut against the Danish Superlia side, Okoflex received fourteen call-ups for first team games played by West Ham but wasn't utilized off the bench by manager David Moyes
Wearing the number 40 at the back of his jersey, the Irish-Nigerian wonderkid stepped out on to the Energi Viborg Arena turf to replace Lanzini with eight minutes left on the clock.
West Ham booked their place in the UECL group stage after a 3-0 win, courtesy of goals from Gianluca Scamacca, Saïd Benrahma and Tomáš SouÄek.
The 20-year-old Okoflex has been one of the standout players for West Ham's development squad ever since he arrived the club, ending the 2021-2022 season as their top scorer with 18 goals in twenty nine appearances across all competitions.
During his time as a player of Celtic, he made his professional debut against Hibernian in January 2021.
