Liverpool are close to sealing a deal with Jordon Ibe to prolong his stay at Anfield beyond the summer of 2017.<br /><br />The Anglo - Nigerian wing - back has agreed a multi - year contract which will be made official before the end of this week, according to reports by several British media outlets.<br /><br />Using the <i>Liverpool Echo </i>as our guide, Jordon Ibe will pen a fresh five- year contract that will keep him at The Reds until June 30, 2020.<br /><br />The 19 - year - old spent the first portion of this season on loan at Derby County but was recalled to fight for a first team shirt following a string of fine displays for the Championship side.<br /><br />Ibe has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season,with eight of those games in the colours of Liverpool.<br /><br />The youngster was snapped up from Wycombe Wanderers in 2012.<br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com<br />
