Giwa FC continued to stick to the tail of the Nigeria Premier League chasing pack with a clinical 3-1 victory over Elkanemi Warriors at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.<br /><br />The Jos Elephants are three points behind leaders Wikki Tourists after 14 round of matches.<br /><br />A victory would have elevated Warriors on the log, but this rarely looked a possibility after Ocheme Edoh opened the score for Giwa in the 2nd minute.<br /><br />Defensive midfielder Saleh Mohammed split the Warriors&rsquo; defence in the 14th minute to increase Giwa&rsquo;s lead with a classy goal.<br /><br />Ibrahim Shuaibu, reeled off a piledriver to make the score an unassailable 3-0 in the 28th minute.<br /><br />Warriors showed brief moments of their true ability in the last 20 minutes, with Bamai Bukar reducing the defeat with an opportunistic, close-ranger in the 74th minute.
