Various websites had earlier reported that Gbenga Arokoyo could be on his way to Kalmar in the winter transfer market.<br /><br />The Sporting Director of the Red Brothers, Thomas Andersson Borstam , who previously worked at Mjallby, has denied the speculations which was first published by Swedish media.<br /><br />Speaking to fotbolldirekt.se, he said : &ldquo;It becomes generally much speculation down in our latitudes, the geographical proximity of the clubs and I spent eleven years in Mjallby as head coach and sporting director.&rdquo;<br /><br />Adding to his previous statement, Borstam said :<br /><br />&ldquo;I fully understand the speculation, I knew it would come up. But that&rsquo;s three or four players at this point as being on the way from Mjallby here to Kalmar, and yet has no one in there.&rdquo;<br /><br />Gbenga Arokoyo, 21, has also been linked with teams in Holland, France and Italy in the January transfer window.<br /><br />It now appears he is staying put in H&auml;llevik, with only 10 hours before the close of the market!<br /><br />
