Kogi United Floats Feeder Team

As part of efforts to develop grass root football and empower the youths in its immediate environment Kogi United FC have set up a feeder team. <br /><br />The team according to a statement signed by the chairman of the Confluence State club, Abdul Sule will made up of 25 players within the age bracket of 15 and 20 years.<br /><br />The statement said <span class="body1">&ldquo;</span>We have deemed it fit that it<span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>s necessary for us to have a feeder team for our club, the players selected will be of good quality that can be able to break into the main team.<span class="">&rdquo;</span><br /><br />He&nbsp; added that <span class="body1">&ldquo;</span>This is our way to encourage the youth in this area, for them to make use of our equipments and environment to develop their football skills.<span class="">&rdquo;</span><br /><br />The selected players are expected to be training twice&nbsp; a week just as friendly matches will be organized to put them in better shape.<br /><br />The Wada Boys are currently campaigning in the pool A1 of the abridged league of the Nigeria National League, NNL .
