Through their official website, Chelsea have confirmed the outgoing transfer of promising midfielder Jacob Maddox to Cheltenham Town.
Maddox will spend the forthcoming season on loan at the League Two club, bringing the total number of players loaned out by the Blues in the ongoing transfer window to twenty.
The 19-year-old was a key member of the Chelsea squad that reached the final of last season's UEFA Youth League, playing eight matches including the showpiece vs Barcelona in April.
Since joining Chelsea, he has won two FA Youth Cups and was named in the starting line-up along with Tammy Abraham, Ola Aina and Fikayo Tomori for the 2016 UEFA Youth League final against PSG which the London club won.
Jacob Maddox has caps for England's U16, U17, U19 and U20 national teams; he joined Chelsea from Bristol City as a 14-year-old.
