The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined Real Salt Lake midfielder Sunday Stephen for his action during the game week four tie against New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena.<br /><br />The Nigeria international violated league policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent in the 56th minute of RSL<span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>s game against the New York Red Bulls on March 25.<br /><br />Stephen was not cautioned for the offense during the game but was yellow carded in the 68th minute. <br /><br />Last season, he was suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for a rash challenge on Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi.<br /><br />A former Spain U20 international, Sunday Stephen has represented clubs in Spain, Bulgaria, Israel and Turkey. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /><span class="body1">Photo Credit : sltrib.com</span><br />
