Irish-born Nigerian striker Mipo Odubeko made his debut for West Ham's first team in a 1-0 win against Stockport County in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Monday night.
Aged 18 years and 82 days, Odubeko stepped out on to the Edgeley Park turf in second half injury time to replace Michail Antonio, wearing the number 45 at the back of his jersey.
The powerful center forward played his first match for West Ham teams after spending four months on the sidelines due to injury.
Shortly after the game, Odubeko, who joined West Ham from Manchester United in October 2019, took to Instagram to celebrate making his professional debut.
He wrote : "Happy to have made my @WestHam debut and more importantly be into the next round! Blessed to be back playing after 4 months out. âš’".
After his senior debut, he was inundated with messages from several of his former teammates at Manchester United including Shola Shoretire, Deji Sotona, Junior Nkwonta, Noah Ohio and Dillon Hoogewerf, who have Nigerian blood flowing in their veins, as well as ex-Arsenal schoolboy Malcolm Ebiowei.
Here's what they said :

Junior Nkwonta : "Well done brother💕"
