Obafemi Martins will discover if he has been named in Shanghai Greenland Shenhua<span class="body1">&rsquo;s Champions League roster on Tuesday, January 24.<br /><br />The Asian Football Confederation have implemented a 3+1 rule, that is teams are allowed to field a maximum of four foreign players, one of whom must be from an Asian country.<br /><br />But </span>Shanghai Greenland Shenhua have five foreigners on their payroll : Obafemi Martins, Carlos Tevez, Giovanni Moreno, Fredy Guar&iacute;n and Kim Kee-hee.<br /><br />While the Japanese defender is guaranteed a spot on the roster, Martins will have to compete with the three other foreigners for the remaining spots. <br /><br />The Nigeria international was the joint second highest goalscorer for the Chinese team in the league last season, with 9 goals to his name from 26 appearances. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : Shanghai Greenland Shenhua
