USA international Maurice Edu will continue defending the colours of Philadelphia Union this coming MLS season.<br /><br />According to philly.com, the 28 - year - old is set to pen a multi - year contract with the MLS side, which will bring down the curtain on his career with Stoke City, who owned his rights.<br /><br />Philadelphia Union paid the&nbsp; English Premier League side a transfer fee for shredding the agreement they have with Maurice Edu.<br /><br />The midfielder represented clubs in Scotland, England and Turkey before returning to his homeland to join Philadelphia Union.<br /><br />In the 2014 campaign, Maurice Edu appeared 31 times in the MLS, scoring 3 goals in the process.<br /><br />Photo Credit : philly.com<br />
