English Premier League champions Leicester City are through to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League after seeing off last year<span class="body1">&rsquo;s Europa League winners Sevilla on Tuesday night.<br /><br />The Foxes advanced 3-2 on aggregate after beating their Spanish opponents 2-0 </span><span class="body1"><span class="body1">at the King Power Stadium.</span><br /><br />On 27 minutes, Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi was among the players in the box as captain Wes Morgan bundled the ball over the line after an undefendable freekick in a dangerous area from </span>Riyad Mahrez, and that goal separated the two teams at the end of the first half.<br /><br />Marc Albrighton gave the home team a two-goal cushion in the 54th minute, taking his time before hitting target with a left foot shot after a cross deflected to him.<br /><br />Down to ten men following the sending off of Manchester City loanee Samir Nasri , Sevilla had a chance to force extra time but ex-Stoke City midfielder Steven N&rsquo;Zonzi saw his penalty saved by Schmeichel in the 80th minute.<br /><br />Leicester number 25 Ndidi put in a full shift and was booked with six minutes left on the clock for a dangerous play against Vicente Iborra.<br /><br />In the closing minutes, the Super Eagles star defended admirably and made a couple of clearances that prevented the Sevilla strikers from reaching the ball. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : lcfc.com<br />
