Tom Dele-Bashiru continued his fine start to the season with a goal and two assists as Manchester City thrashed Sunderland 4-0 in the U18 Premier League at Academy of Light Training Ground on Saturday afternoon.<br /><br />Dele-Bashiru started along with Will Patching in the center of midfield and did not starve the strikers of service, while England U18 international Ashinme Kigbu was part of a three-man defense. <br /><br />On 40 minutes, the 17-year-old put City 2-0 up before setting up the third goal scored by Ian Carlo Poveda .<br /><br />In four appearances for the Citizens U18 squad in the league, Dele-Bashiru has provided six assists in total, including his three helpers in the 7-0 rout of Liverpool in August. <br /><br />Defenders Nathanael Ogbeta and Edward Elewa-Ikpakwu were not selected for today&rsquo;s tie against Sunderland. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : mancity.com<br /><br />
