New Wolverhampton Wanderers signing Michael Agboola has stated that that he will not reject a call-up to the Nigerian National Teams but stressed that he is also open to playing for his country of birth, England.
Born in London to Nigerian parents seventeen years ago, the highly-rated defender penned a two-and-a-half year professional contract with Wolves on Friday following a successful trial.
''I would love to play for Nigeria but I wouldn’t turn down England. I can play for both teams,'' said Michael Agboola to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''My parents homeland is Nigeria but I am born and raised in London, England so it depends on whoever calls me up first.''
Agboola has versatility to boot and can comfortably operate as a central defender or central midfielder.
''I think I suit both positions and it allows me to improve in each area of my game and understand both positions more.
''As a player I feel I am good on the ball and my passing range is good. I'm strong on the ball, good in the air and have a good strike,'' he added.

He explained why he models his game after former Manchester City star Yaya Toure.

Agboola previously played for the youth teams of Southampton, Charlton Athletic and Dagenham & Redbridge.
