Nigerian Defender Comes Off Bench To Score 89th Minute Winner For Arsenal

The young Nigerian defender Tobi Omole was on target as Arsenal beat Swansea City 1-0 in an U18 Premier League encounter at Shenley Training Centre on Saturday afternoon.<br /><br />The Gunners penultimate game before the end of the South Division was heading for a draw until Tobi Omole stole the headlines by scoring his first goal in the league in the 89th minute. <br /><br />Omole, on as a substitute in the 74th minute, netted the winner after he was set up by Emile Smith-Rowe.<br /><br />The 17-year-old, who has admitted that he is learning his craft from&nbsp; Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi, has started two games for the Young Gunners in the U18 league, while he has appeared off the bench nine times. <br /><br />England youth international Tolaji Bola put in a full shift for Arsenal and teammate Joseph Olayinka remained on the bench for the entirety of the game. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : arsenal.com<br />
