Nigerian Prospects Celebrate Winning League Title With Manchester City
Nigerian talents are celebrating after Manchester City clinched the U18 Premier League North section after a 4-2 win over Stoke City at Clayton Wood Training Ground on Saturday.<br /><br />City won the title as they have an unassailable nine-point gap over second-place Manchester United with two rounds left. <br /><br />England youth Nathanael Ogbeta, 15, would have recorded his fourth appearance of the season if he had come off the bench against the Potters. <br /><br />The highly-rated midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru solidified himself as a starter for the U18s, with 14 appearances to date and three goals to his name. <br /><br />Jos-born Ashinme Kigbu is another Nigerian talent that featured for the Citizens U18s squad. <br /><br />Having made his debut for England U18s, the no-nonsense central defender has nothing to prove at that level and has played five games for the squad. <br /><br />Manchester City won the U18 Premier League last season and have not lost a game in the 2016-2017 campaign ahead of the national stage. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br /><span class="body1"><span class="body1"><span class="body1">Photo Credit : mancity.com </span></span></span><br />
