With a statement on their official website, Italian Serie B club Bari have announced the signing of Italian-Nigerian midfielder Michael Folorunsho on loan from Napoli.
The 1998-born player has returned for a second spell at Bari, having spent the 2019-2020 campaign on loan at The Biancorossi.
Since landing at Napoli in 2019, he has struggled to break into the first team and has been shipped off on loan to Bari, Reggina and Pordenone Calcio in back-to-back seasons.
Prior to joining Napoli, he wore the colours of the youth teams of Tor Sapienza, Savio and Lazio before starting starting his senior career at Virtus Francavilla, where he netted 8 goals in 66 games.
In his first spell as a Bari player, Folorunsho made fifteen appearances, of which thirteen were off the bench.
The versatile midfielder has Serie B experience, with sixty-one games under his belt and has ten goals and five assists to his name.
Bari begin the 2022-2023 season with a Coppa Italia match against Padova on July 31.
