Chelsea have informed through their official website that they have completed the signing of former England international glovesman Robert Green.
The 38-year-old will remain at Stamford Bridge until at least June 30, 2019, having put pen to paper on a one-year contract, and will provide backup for Thibaut Courtois and Willy Caballero.
Speaking on the deal, Green stated : ''It has been a whirlwind 24 hours. You are thinking about your career and where you want to go and then you get a phone call like this, and it is a short conversation.

Robert Green numbers Norwich City, West Ham, Queens Park Rangers, Leeds United and Huddersfield Town among his former clubs.
He was a member of England's squad at the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship.
