Major League Soccer side FC Dallas have landed Canadian - Nigerian striker Tesho Akindele from the Colorado School of Mines.<br /><br />He was selected with the number six pick in the 2014 SuperDraft.<br /><br />Akindele is delighted with his move to FC Dallas and is hoping to kick start his career at the Toyota Stadium Frisco, Texas.<br /><br />&ldquo;I had an interview with Dallas and they made it seem like they liked me, but I had no idea I would get picked this early. <br /><br />&ldquo;I was definitely thinking somebody would pick me up in the second round or maybe at the end of the first round&hellip; <br /><br />&ldquo;They kind of told me they tried to keep it a little bit secret that they might try to get me early, but I&rsquo;m glad they did that and I&rsquo;m just happy now,&rdquo;Tesho Akindele told the official website of the Hoops.<br /><br />The 21 - year - old offensive all-rounder bagged an impressive 76 goals in 4 seasons spent at Colorado School of Mines.<br /><br />Photo Credit : mlssoccer.com<br />
