Through their official website, Russian Premier League club Amkar Perm have announced they have extended their collaboration with Russian-born Nigerian defender Brian Idowu.<br /><br />The new three-year contract signed by Idowu will keep him at Amkar Perm until June 30, 2020.<br /><br />In his first words after putting pen to paper on the deal, Idowu told Amkar Perm<span class="body1"><span class="body1">&rsquo;s</span></span> official website : &ldquo;I am grateful to Amkar for the proposal to extend the contract. <br /><br />&ldquo;I feel comfortable in Perm, I like the atmosphere in the team and the stadium, and to discuss a new contract details took quite a bit of time. <br /><br />&ldquo;I hope to be able to justify the trust placed in me &rdquo;.<br /><br />Idowu, who is in contact with Super Eagles coach Rohr regarding a call-up to the national team, joined Amkar Perm from FC Zenit St. Petersburg in 2010.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : fc-amkar.org <br />
