With a note on the official webpage, Belgian Pro League side Racing Genk have announced the acquisition of Wilfred Ndidi from Nath Boys of Lagos. <br /><br />The Nigeria youth international has committed his future to the three - time champions of Belgium for the next two and a half years, with the club retaining the option of extending his stay for two more seasons.<br /><br />The 18 - year - old impressed the&nbsp; Racing Genk hierarchy when he first tested with the club in January, but he could not sign on the dotted line because he was still a minor.<br /><br />After passing his medical two days ago,&nbsp; the Limburg - based club have offered him a contract with effect from this month.<br /><br />For the remainder of this season, the defendive all-rounder will sport the number 25 jersey.<br /><br />Nigerian striker Kim Ojo and Belgium international Marvin Ogunjimi have worn the jersey of Racing Genk in the past.<br /><br />Photo Credit : krcgenk.be<br />
