Lille striker Victor Osimhen has been included in the European U21 Team of the Month by celebrated football statistics website Whoscored.com.
Some of the most exciting young talents in world football including PSG's Kylian Mbappe, Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Arsenal's Matteo Guendouzi and Chelsea's Mason Mount have been named to the Team of the Month.
Signed from RSC Charleroi in August 2019, Osimhen has settled quickly into life at Lille, netting a brace in each of his first two home matches and is the joint top scorer in Ligue 1 with four goals along with Lyon's Memphis Depay.
The Nigeria international was involved in three matches last month, against Nantes, SC Amiens and Saint-étienne.
Osimhen racked up 11 shots and won ten aerial duels in the three appearances over August.
In a 4-3-3 formation, the Nigerian, who has also been named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Month, leads the attack flanked by Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Mbappe.
